Tentang Penulis
Kushendarsyah Saptaji, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., CEng MIMechE,
received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2012. He is currently the Head of Mechanical Engineering Study Program at Sampoerna University, Indonesia, and holds Chartered Engineer status from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). He obtained the Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, in 2000 and the M.Sc. degree in mechanical and materials processing from Nanyang Technological University through the ASEAN Graduate Scholarship program. His research and teaching interests include conventional and advanced machining, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing. He has published numerous papers in international journals and conference proceedings and has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in multiple academic and industrial research projects.
Sultansyah Reza Abdillah S.T., B.Sc. • Ir. Ifat, S.T.,
received the Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Sampoerna University, Indonesia, and the Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Arizona, USA, through a dual-degree program in 2025. He has served as a Manufacturing and Mechanical Integrated Junior Lab Engineer and as a Manufacturing Laboratory Assistant at Sampoerna University, where he conducted laboratory sessions and supported hands-on CAD/CAM and machining
activities. He was also involved in student leadership as Vice President of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Sampoerna University Student Chapter and participated in regional engineering competitions. His interests include manufacturing systems, mechanical design, and process optimization.
Ir. Ifat, S.T.,
received the Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Universitas Tadulako, Palu, Indonesia, in 2015 and completed the Professional Engineer Program at Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University, Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2023. He is currently a Manufacturing Laboratory Coordinator at Sampoerna University. He has participated in various professional trainings, including laboratory occupational safety certification (K3) from BNSP, and technical training in CNC machining, Mastercam, and Siemens NX. His professional activities include laboratory management, equipment operation, and the development of practical laboratory modules. His interests focus on manufacturing processes, CNC machining, and engineering laboratory education.
Ignatius Budi Sutanto Hadisujoto, S.T., Ph.D.,
received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, USA, in 2013. He is currently a Lecturer in the
Mechanical Engineering Program at Sampoerna University, Indonesia. Prior to his academic career, he gained professional experience in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries in the United States and worked in research and engineering roles in Indonesia. He has taught and developed courses in electronics, dynamic systems, mechatronics, numerical methods, fluid mechanics, and MATLAB programming. His research interests include automation, robotics, composite materials, and energy-related materials.
Nikolas Krisma Hadi Fernandez S.T., B.Sc., M.Eng.
received the Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Sampoerna University, Indonesia, and the Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Arizona, USA, in 2023, and the Master of Engineering degree from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Malaysia. He is currently a
Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Program at Sampoerna University. He has contributed to journal publications as well as instructional books and laboratory modules for engineering education. His academic and professional interests include mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering education.
